On-Site Appliance
An AI server on your office network, with UPS, encrypted disks and firewall included in the quote. Data never leaves your premises. Technosult configures, monitors and supports it over a secure VPN.
Technosult Hosted
A dedicated virtual server in Technosult's rack at Teraco, Durban, with dual power feeds and multiple carriers. It runs small AI models on CPU, with your data on its own isolated server. Suits light, entry-level use with no hardware to buy.

Is local AI as good as ChatGPT?
Today's open models handle most daily office work very well: drafting, summarising, answering questions from your documents and Excel analysis. For the hardest reasoning tasks frontier cloud models still lead, so we offer an optional Hybrid Gateway that sends redacted, non-personal tasks to a cloud model under your policy, with every request logged.
How long does it take?
About three weeks from assessment to installation, followed by a two- to three-week pilot.
Do you work outside Durban and Cape Town?
Yes. We're based in Paarl with an office in Durban, install on-site anywhere in South Africa, and support you remotely over a secure VPN.
What does it cost?
Setup starts at R25,000 plus monthly management from R3,500 (excl. VAT), plus the hardware or hosting. The AI Readiness & POPIA Assessment is credited in full against setup.
